Kristen Lollar

Howdy guys! I’m a native Texan and have grown up in Houston and it’s surrounding suburban areas. Currently, I am in my senior year at Texas A&M, majoring in Communications, with a minor in Business Administration. Being an art enthusiast, I am genuinely thrilled and grateful to be involved with FashionWeekBCS! With this being the event’s first year, I had no image in my mind of what to expect as an intern, or any notion of how big of an undertaking the event would become. I must admit, this opportunity to dabble in public relations, marketing, and event planning has been more valuable and interesting than I could’ve envisioned. When I’m not busy doing my intern duties or in class, there is a 98% chance I am at Aggie Station Apartments, where I not only live, but also work (no commute to work is heavenly). I work as a Community Assistant/Leasing Agent in the office, meaning I not only give you your tour, take care of your lease, and plan your resident events, but I am also the person you call when you are locked out at 3 in the morning. I am a self-proclaimed “E! Junkie”, my Facebook contains more photos than any one Facebook should ever hold, and during my so-called “free time”, I enjoy a nice Zumba class at the rec. center. In the future, I am leaning towards possibly working in the marketing industry or a related field, whether that means continuing my work in student housing or diving into Grad School, only time will tell!
